Re: 人的智慧
個人認為本書的重點有二:
一是假設大腦的運作原理充分地運用了達爾文過程;
另一個很有創見的地方是本書第七章的〈皮質迷宮〉:作者提出一個可能的方式,來描述大腦皮質層如何產生達爾文過程,並解釋了意識及潛意識的形成。
這本書我是在1997年年底購入的,直到現在還是看不太懂〈皮質迷宮〉所提出的機制。總覺得作者描述得不夠詳盡,也可能是我的物理背景不夠紮實吧... :(
到是建議,同是天下出版的《萬種心靈》,也很值得一看。
兩本書都很強調“達爾文過程”的重要,不過一前者強調如何在腦中形成達爾文過程;後者強調心靈是如何經由天擇之手演化出來的。
歡迎有對此類資訊有所涉獵的同好一起來分享心得...
